The department Visual Computing represents a working-group of the Visualization Institute at this University (VISUS) and is supervised by Jun.-Prof. Martin Fuchs.

Concerning teaching, the department as well as the other Institute's departments contribute to the training (in the Bachelor and master programs) of computer science in visualization and computer graphics.
