Bastian Pfleging is a research assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction group (MCI) of the Institute Institute for Visualization and Interactive Systems (VIS) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He received a MSc in Computer Science (Diploma) from TU Dortmund, Germany. From 2009 to 2011 he was working as a research assistant at the Pervasive Computing and User Interface Engineering Group at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. From 2010 to 2011 he was visiting the BMW Technology Office in Palo Alto / Mountain View, CA, USA. He is a member of ACM, the German Informatics Society (Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI)) and VDI.
