News

13.10.2014: First assignment is now online.

14.10.2014: Slides for the kick-off and introduction to version control are now available.

16.10.2014: An additional excercise will be held on Thursdays at 15:45-17:15

21.10.2014: De-registration form the course is only allowed until the deadline of Friday, October 31st.

28.10.2014: The Second Assignment is now online.

30.10.2014: We refrain from providing the second time slot at Thursdays. You are encouraged to contact us whenever you encounter problems.

11.11.2014: The deadline for the second assignment is extended by one week, but the third assignment will start on 11.11. anyway and is now online.

25.11.2014: The fourth assignment is now online.

07.01.2015: For the last task, please submit your project proposals until 12.01.; we will then discuss it in the Tuesday course (13.01.).

09.02.2015: This friday (13.02) is the deadline for the 5. assignment! We will meet at the VISUS pool on 15:00. Please be prepared to present your project on one of the pools computers.

Final project (Self-assigned)

Description

This course teaches students the basics of programming interactive 3D graphics applications. Students will gain experience in implementing hardware-accelerated visualization techniques and user interface programming. Participation in this course is recommended in preparation for future theses work on computer graphics and visualization. The course will be conducted in English and is targeted at students of MSc Computer Science, MSc Softwaretechnik, and MSc Informatik. The number of participants is limited to 10.

If you decide to no longer attend the practical course, please note the deregistration deadline on Friday, October 31st. You are not allowed to deregister after this date.

OGL4Core

In this course, the OGL4Core framework is used to ease developing applications with OpenGL. Please download it from the linked page.
