We prolonged the deadline for the fourth assignment. Your SVN access to the fourth assignment will be closed on Monday morning, June 22nd. In the meantime, you can already work on your project proposals.

The fourth assignemt is online and will be discussed in three weeks. The deadline for the third assignment was extended by one day and is due the latest by Friday, May 29th.

Important: If you decide that you cannot participate in the course, for formal reasons, you have to deregister in order not to fail the course. For that, please visit Ms. Ulrike Ritzmann in her office in the computer science building, room 2.459. You cannot deregister by writing her an e-mail. The latest date you can deregister is May 8th 2015.

Description

This course teaches students the basics of programming interactive 3D graphics applications. Students will gain experience in implementing hardware-accelerated visualization techniques and user interface programming. Participation in this course is recommended in preparation for future theses work on computer graphics and visualization. The course will be conducted in English and is targeted at students of MSc Computer Science, MSc Softwaretechnik, and MSc Informatik. The number of participants is limited to 10.

OGL4Core

In this course, the OGL4Core framework is used to ease developing applications with OpenGL. Please download it from the linked page.
