This workshop is the sixth in a series of annual meetings organized by the DFG Graduate College "3-D Image Analysis and Synthesis" and the DFG Graduate Research Center SFB 603 "Model-based Analysis and Visualization of Complex Scenes and Sensor Data" at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. After three meetings in Erlangen, one in Alpbach, Austria, and the previous one at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Informatik in Saarbruecken, the 2001 workshop will take place in Stuttgart. It is organized by the VIS-group of the Computer Science Department and will be supported by the DFG Graduate Research Center SFB 382 "Computational Physics", by the Informatik Forum Stuttgart INFOS, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO, which will host the meeting at its facilities.

On site registration is possible on Wednesday Nov. 21st 8:00 - 12:00, but we ask you to register as soon as you know that you will attend the conference (needed for local arrangements).
Information on available equipment for presentations during the workshop can be found on the author's kit page.
Prospective attendees are invited to submit a paper up to 8 pages in final form. All submissions will be reviewed. Accepted papers will appear in the workshop digest as submitted.
