Markus studied Software-Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. During his studies, he worked for 2 years at the Human-Computer-Interaction group as a student assistant. Additionally, he wrote his Diploma-Thesis in cooperation with Yahoo!-Labs in Sunnyvale, CA, on a project about searching the real world using stationary and mobile object detection. After receiving his Diploma in December 2012, he joined the HCI group at the University of Stuttgart as a research associate and started working on the motionEAP project.
