  • Two ICCV Reviewer Awards: Azin Jahedi und Andrés Bruhn received Outstanding Reviewer Awards for their reviews at the IEEE/CVF International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV 2025, October 19-23, Honolulu, Hawaii, US).

  • CVPR Area Chair: Andrés Bruhn will serve as Area Chair for the IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR 2026, June 6 - June 12, Denver, Colorado, US).

  • ICCV Workshop Paper: Our paper "On the Generalization of Optical Flow: Quantifying Robustness to Dataset Shifts" introduces a framework for measuring the eveffective robustness, i.e. the OOD generalization performance of optical flow methods relative to the trend derived from their ID performance. It has been accepted as oral at this year's DataCV Workshop at the IEEE/CVF International Conference on Compuer Vision (ICCV 2025, October 19-23, Honolulu, Hawaii, US).

  • ICIP Paper: Our paper "MS-RAFT-3D: A Multi-Scale Architecture for Recurrent Image-Based Scene Flow" has been accepted as oral at this year's IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP 2025, September 14-17, Anchorage, Alaska, US). Check out its results at KITTI and Spring!

  • CVPR Reviewer Award: Jenny Schmalfuss received an Outstanding Reviewer Award for her reviews at the IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR 2025, June 11-15, Nashville, Tennessee, US).

  • CVPR Paper: Our paper "PARC: A Quantitative Framework Uncovering the Symmetries within Vision Language Models" has been accepted at this year's IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR 2025, June 11-15, Nashville, Tennessee, US).

  • Ph.D. Defence: On February 7, 2025, Lukas Mehl has defended his Ph.D. thesis on "Stereoscopic Videos: Data Generation, Image Synthesis and Motion Analysis". Prof. Hendrik Lensch (University of Tübingen, Germany) was external committee member.

  • New Ph.D. Student: Katrin Bauer has joined our research group as a Ph.D. student after she finished her M.Sc. studies in Informatik at the University of Stuttgart.

  • ECCV Area Chair Award: Andrés Bruhn received an Outstanding Area Chair Award for his work as area chair at the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV 2024, September 29 - October 4, Milan, Italy).
