I am a third year PhD student in the Human Computer Interaction group of Prof. Albrecht Schmidt. I am working on enhancing communication technologies using Psychophysiological sensors. In a nutshell, I use data from our own bodies such as heart rate, skin conductance, eye gaze and electroencephalography to design, build and evaluate new communication systems that are seamless, adaptive and affective. 

I graduated with high honors with a Bachelor of Science degree from the faculty of Digital Media Engineering, German Univeristy in Cairo (GUC). I hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart. I previously worked as a UX researcher in Trustious, a reviews and recommendations app, and interned in Sony Research Center and Daimler AG.
